News update

As you’ve no doubt noticed, we haven’t released the POP tickets yet. This is due to a few reasons, some outside our control. Mainly, we have now sorted out a lot of details about the scenario and factions.

The most important details for you participants:

* Different style of the NATO base. We’ll still have a base, but it’ll be much rougher and more front line than what was earlier discussed. There won’t be a mess hall or field kitchen, etc. The base will be set up (by players) in-game at the start of POP. Expect fewer conveniences for the NATO side, and more hardcore feeling.

* Specifying the conflict a bit. Focus is now more on Obnovleniye meddling in Transnistrian affairs, with the peacekeepers taking a more active stand against incursions, rather than focusing on keeping Respublika and Obnovleniye from killing each other.

* Civilians will still play a big role at POP, however perhaps not in large quantities. We aim to keep the civilian side of things meaningful, and not as a scripted NPC side.

* More work outsourced to interested participants.

* Readjusted the budget and overall ticket prices are now cheaper.

More detailed information of the game will be released in the days to come, and tickets are going live very shortly. NATO tickets will be released incrementally, to keep the ratio between insurgents and peacekeepers in line. We hope you’re still on for the ride!

Regards,
The Milsim.se crew
